What others say about the BCO:
“…musicians of the Boston Chamber Orchestra gave a richly detailed, powerful and polished performance of the Marcel Tyberg sextet… Balance and ensemble playing was beautifully executed within a highly nuanced interpretation. Throughout the performance, the musicians imparted color and grand scope to each movement. The result was a near orchestral balance of sound. The scherzo offered cleanly articulated playing while the Adagio offered burnished tone and poetic sensitivity.”
– JoAnn Falletta, Music Director of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, Principal Conductor of the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast, Northern Ireland
“The Boston Chamber Orchestra is a highly dynamic, young group of musicians… I hope to continue working together in the future!
“They play with loads of energy and enthusiasm, and are wonderfully led by Yohei Sato.”
“I very much enjoyed playing with the BCO- their playing was attentive, alive and enthusiastic, and their love for the music was infectious.”
“It was a great pleasure to perform the Bach Double Concerto with Yi-Hsiu Liu and the fine musicians of the Boston Chamber Orchestra.”
– Peter Zazofsky, Violinist
